Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 cup (150g) broccoli florets
- 1 cup (150g) snap peas
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Mix until the beef is coated evenly and set it aside to marinate for about 10 minutes.
- In a wok or large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the wok, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until it's browned on all sides and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the beef from the wok and set it aside.
- In the same wok, add the sliced bell peppers, broccoli florets, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the wok and toss everything together to combine.
- Remove the wok from the heat.
- Garnish the Beef Stir-Fry with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve the Beef Stir-Fry over cooked rice or noodles.
