Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (25g) red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (15g) fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced mangoes, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeño pepper, and chopped cilantro.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, honey or agave nectar, and salt until well combined.
  3. Pour the lime dressing over the mango mixture and gently toss everything together to coat the ingredients evenly.
  4. Adjust the seasoning to taste, adding more salt or lime juice if desired.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the Mango Salsa for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Before serving, give the salsa a quick stir.
  7. Serve the Mango Salsa with tortilla chips for a refreshing and tropical appetizer or snack.
